Chrome Extension

Prior to January, ATGF offered an extension for the Google Chrome browser that enabled access to menus within EPIC by right-clicking on specific fields within EPIC. This helped simulate the environment users were accustomed to in Internet Explorer. However, Google Chrome has forced the removal of this extension from the Google Store and has systematically removed it from users browsers. In response to this, we have introduced new functionality within EPIC that will replace the right-click functionality.

Here are a few of them:

1. Removing lender policies:
   • A new “trash can” icon has been placed to the right of the ellipses button. To delete the lender, just click the can.<br>NOTE: There are no confirmations or warnings. When you click this icon, EPIC will remove the lender immediately.
2. Removing overwritten fields:
   • As you are aware, fields in EPIC that are overwritten will show up in pink. If you accidentally overwrote the field and need to revert it back to it’s default value, just click in the overwritten field to reveal the “x”, click the “x” to restore the default value.
3. Adding, Updating, Removing Clauses from your favorites:
   • Ellipses buttons have been added to various areas in EPIC, one of these places is the “Other” exceptions/requirement. Use this button to access clauses that you have saved.
   • Use the “Edit” button to type in the text box either to add new text or update existing text. You can click on “Save changes of current text in clause list” to update a clause or “Save current text as new clause in clause list” to create a new clause.

This change is effective as of February 20, 2025 with additional functionality added on March 19, 2025. This EPIC update has expanded the range of browsers that will support EPIC; Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari have all functioned similarly with the new updates. Once full testing is completed in all browsers, the official supported browser list will be released. As you are working in EPIC, look for the new icons that have been added to replace the extension.
